Have you heard of electromagnetic hypersensitivity or (EHS)?
It is sensitivity to electromagnetic fields that can cause various uncomfortable symptoms in certain people.
Some traditional doctors totally ignore EHS or ridicule those who claim to have it, but the fact is, top environmental doctors in Europe and North America are actually publishing reports on how to prevent, diagnose and treat these health issues related to electromagnetic fields.
Tinnitus is one of the most commonly reported early symptoms in electro-sensitive patients.
Others include:
- Fatigue/ weakness
- Sleep issues/ insomnia
- Migraines/ headaches
- Memory loss
- Brain fog
- Depression/ anxiety
- Light sensitivity
Stress can be a huge factor in making these symptoms worse, and stress should always be investigated in order to uncover the root cause of any health issues.
If you have any of the above symptoms, consider the following.
- Do your symptoms improve dramatically when you are away from home or work?
- Do you live within 500 meters (approx. 1,600 ft.) of a cell phone tower?
- Do you experience a headache or migraine when you use a phone next to your head? Or notice numbness/ tingling in your arms, hands or face/ ears?
One way to test what could be causing your symptoms is to take a break from all the EMF you are exposed to on a regular basis.
If possible, go away for about 5 days from your home and work, and do not bring any wireless gadgets, including phones, tablets, computers or wearables like headphones or fitbits.
Head somewhere in nature where the electro-pollution is at a minimum, camping in the forest is a great example.
Do you feel substantially better during this “EMF vacation? Than that is a tell-sign that something in your home or workplace environments is keeping you unwell.
How to Start reducing your EMF Exposure now
Even if you are not sure that you have symptoms related to EMFs, everyone is affected by them, whether or not they realize it.
Over an extended period of time, EMF exposure has negative impacts on our health. It can reduce our ability to feel young and energetic, can age us faster and even increase the risk of long-term disease.
Begin today with these action steps:
Stop keeping your phone near your body for extended periods. Put it on “Airplane mode” whenever possible, or use a specifically designed EMF – blocking case.
Make sure you have distance between your ears and your phone when taking calls. Use speaker phone, or a pair of wired earbuds.
Avoid bluetooth-enabled electronics as much as possible.
Consider using a wired connection (Ethernet cable) to connect your computer and other devices to the Internet.
Turn off the Wi-Fi router when not in use, and every night.
Practice spending less and less time with your phone if possible, and more time out in nature or reading a book, talking to friends etc.
Track your symptoms and see if anything changes when you spend less time close to your electronics.
